Pharmacists

The access to essential drugs is one of the major concerns of MSF. Through their expertise, pharmacists are responsible for managing of drugs (managing of orders, supply, inventory and distribution of drugs etc.) as well as medical medical equipment.

Pharmacists will promote a good coordinated organisation of the whole medical supply chain in order to make quality drugs and medical material available.

Another focal point is the work with government officials on supply chain issues, and communicate one-on-one with patients who need treatment.

Special Requirements:

  • Two years professional experience, ideally in a hospital
  • Relevant degree in pharmacology
  • Ability to manage supply and organize stock
  • Ability to ensure quality of locally purchased drugs
  • Knowledge of HIV and TB treatment desirable
  • At least 6 to 12 months of availability for a mission
