PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

As a physiotherapist going on mission with MSF, you will mainly work in programs with a surgical focus (for example war wounded or after an earthquake).

As a result of the type of MSF aid and/or the conditions in the MSF projects, there are very few positions for physiotherapists. The field of rehabilitation is often covered by other organizations, see for example: Handicap International.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physiotherapists degree
• Two years of practical experience after attainment of degree – preferably in the field of   traumasurgery and post-operative care
• Experience in supervision and training
• Good understanding and fluency in English; 
• Knowledge of other languages - in particular French - is an asset.
•  Availability of 6 to 12 months for a mission
