Construction Engineers and Architects

In order to be able to provide medical aid, many non-medical tasks must also be carried out. “All-rounder” are as equally sought after as highly trained specialists.

Structural rehabilitation plays a major role in our projects, especially in countries which are in the rehabilitation phase after a war.

Construction engineers/architects plan, carry out and oversee the development or reconstruction of healthcare facilities. You are responsible for the local staff, which you hire, train and supervision. In this position you negotiate with local contractors and suppliers and order necessary materials and supervise their use.

Special requirements:

  • relevant technical expertise and vocational training
  • improvisation and hands-on skills.
  • professional experience in developing countries is an asset
  • availability of at least two to six months
