Rights & Obligations as a member

Criteria for membership

According to the MSF-International Statutes the criteria for membership are as follows:

An individual may be considered for membership as Individual Member when:

  • he/she has working experience as International Staff in an Operational Project of overall not less than six months; and/or
  • he/she has completed two separate contracts as International Staff in an Operational Project; and/or
  • he/she has working experience of overall one year as a locally contracted employee of the Association or any of its Institutional Members; and/or
  • he/she has done unpaid work, student assistance or internship of overall two years within the Association or any of its Institutional Members and
  • he/she complies with the rules, the requirements and proceedings set out in the Internal Rules.

As a member of the association I will be invited to:

  • Participate to open board meetings
  • Participate and vote at the General Assembly (GA). Each member holds one vote. It is also possible to vote by proxy.And so much more!

I will receive the following documents:

  • Updates on associative topics via association newsletter
  • The invitation to events like: exhibitions, conferences, debates etc

I will:

  • Subscribe to the Charter and Principles of MSF
  • Manifest my interest for the association through participation and contribution to debates
  • Pay the annual membership fee

Payment method

The annual membership fee is € 15,- The fee is payable once your application is approved by the Board at their next meeting.
