Why did you decide to work for Médecins Sans Frontières?

From a very young age, I was drawn to questions of justice and equity. Whether providing legal counseling for asylum-seeking individuals or drafting communications for international organizations, over the years, that instinct became my compass. Joining Médecins Sans Frontières was a natural step for me. I wanted to bring my skills to an organization that doesn’t just talk about principles but puts them into practice, in some of the most difficult and overlooked contexts.

What do you value most about Doctors Without Borders?

When I think about why I joined MSF, it’s not just one reason, but a culmination of everything I’ve seen and done, from reporting on pushbacks at European borders to crafting advocacy campaigns on press freedom. Beyond delivering life-saving medical care, MSF's commitment to bearing witness challenges systems of inequality by exposing them. We understand that humanitarian action, more often than not, means speaking uncomfortable truths: I deeply value that MSF does not shy away from that responsibility.
