Ramon Ritter

Ramon Ritter is from Lingenau, Vorarlberg. He has done part time master’s degrees in Business Process Management and Digital Business Innovation and Transformation. In parallel he worked for the Zumtobel Group in Dornbirn and for the Austrian Post Group in Vienna, always in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.  

Have you ever been abroad for a significant length of time or on a humanitarian mission before?

I did vacations in various countries in South America, Africa and Asia. In addition, in 2021 I lived in Mexico for half a year, but I don’t have experience with humanitarian missions. 

Why did you decide to go on mission with MSF?

I was looking for a job where I can use my skills in a meaningful way, where money is not the central goal of my job. 

What do you value most about MSF?

Their purpose and meaningful work

What are you looking forward to most on your (next) mission?

Getting to know a country that I would never ever visit in my life and having a purpose in my job. 

Is there anything that you take along to every mission?

As it is my first mission, I am not sure, but a couple of books. 

What are you passionate about and how do you like to spend your free time?

I like to do a lot of sports (climbing, tennis, cross country skiing, football), reading and cooking.
