Have you ever been abroad for a significant length of time or on a humanitarian mission before?

Yes. I have done a various number of missions with MSF and have been working for seven years now with the organization.

Why did you decide to go on mission with MSF?

When I joined MSF I got attracted by the work that MSF does and by the prospect of a great adventure which proved to be true. Now I feel very motivated to continue to contribute to the great work that the organization does.

What do you value most about MSF?

It’s adherence to its principles and the impact of the work that the organization does.

What are you looking forward to most on your (next) mission?

I’m hoping to meet another great MSF team and to also improve my French 😊

Is there anything that you take along to every mission?

My laptop and gadgets and never forget long sleeves and mosquito spray when going to a tropical place 😊

What are you passionate about and how do you like to spend your free time?

I spend time with my wife who is also an MSF staff, watch and play football and also certain computer games. But overall I’m a big football geek.

What is your most unforgettable experience in the field?

This is a hard one as there are so many. I would say the best experience is the interaction with the colleagues. You get to meet so many people from so many different backgrounds and although it can
be overwhelming at first it always becomes a very enriching experience
